Andalusia is the southernmost region of Spain and where I hung my (cordobés) hat for four years. It is home to all of the rich cultural heritage that Spain conjures: flamenco, horses, sherry, and jamon. It also has beautiful beaches, craggy mountains, and more than a few interesting tapas.
You can compare the famous white villages; enjoy an Andalusian horse performance, eat at a candlelit Moorish restaurant, bask on sandy beaches, clap along to bulería flamenco, take a respite from the heat in a medieval synagogue or cathedral, taste sherry at bodegas by the sea, or join locals weeving their way between midway rides and flowered horse carriages at the annual feria.
